Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven UPS Salesperson to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
systems to various market segments, including residential, commercial, and industrial
customers. This role requires a strong understanding of power systems, excellent sales skills,
and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target and secure
new business opportunities for UPS systems.
• Customer Engagement: Identify potential customers, establish contact, and develop
relationships with key decision-makers in various industries.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of UPS products, features,
benefits, and applications, and be able to convey this information to customers
effectively.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs and
recommend appropriate UPS solutions to meet their power protection requirements.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotes, and
contracts to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their budget and technical
needs.
• Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers to close deals, ensuring mutually
beneficial agreements that contribute to company profitability.
• Customer Support: Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including product
demonstrations, technical guidance, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and
competitor products to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive
edge.
• Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, including forecasting,
pipeline management, and achievement of sales targets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless
delivery and installation of UPS systems, as well as high levels of customer
satisfaction.
• Training and Development: Continuously improve product knowledge and sales
skills through training sessions, seminars, and industry events.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business,
Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the power
systems or electrical industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding
sales targets.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of UPS systems, power management
solutions, and related technologies. Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and
concise manner.
• Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Ability to build and
maintain strong customer relationships.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to deliver effective presentations and product demonstrations.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and
make data-driven decisions to drive sales success.
• Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets
and grow the customer base.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend
industry events, and support sales efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in selling to industrial or commercial customers, particularly in the data
centre, manufacturing, or telecommunications sectors.
• Familiarity with energy-efficient and green power solutions.
• Certification in sales or a related discipline.
Work Environment:
• Office-based role with frequent travel to customer sites and industry events.
